Here's a few pics of my Maxima with some 18' G35 wheels I recently purchased on ebay. To be a little unique, I switched the Infiniti center caps with my old GXE Nissan center caps and they fit perfect and color matched too. Sadly, this has been the only thing I have modified since I bought the car. School and work seem to take most of my time and my girlfriend seems to take most of my money, buts thats another story...

Is there any other Maximas out there with the same setup?
Check out my cardomain site for more pics.

Pending projects:::Polarg M6 Reverse lights, 2k2 HIDs or a pair of PIAA (still undecided), more to come...

Auuugh ha!

I was wondering if there were any Nissan center caps that would fit. Good find!

So do you have the 225 or 245s on front?

I have the 225s in the front and the 245s in the back and they weigh approx. 50 lbs.

Yeah, right now, I have the stock suspension but with time & money I'll install a kit, just don't know which one to go with. Any suggestions???

Wow, I have never seen a Max with a hydraulic kit!

J/K Looks good. I have been watching ebay for some of these myself. Only problem is the rear tires and the WEIGHT of the wheels. I heard they were 30lbs each.

Wow, those rims look sweet. Now it's time for a drop! I love these rims on 5th gens. And yes, there are a few other people running G35 18"s - and a couple others on the org I know (including me) who are considering.

808-Maxspec has 'em but is still saving up for tires.

A few other resources that might intertest you:

Also, I posted a few shots of another 5th gen. with these on my site: http://www.cardomain.com/id/housecor.

Oh, and they weigh 30lbs. each.

Good work!

Do you ever rotate your tires? That would seem hard to do if you have different sizes on your car.

I couldn't resist digging into Photoshop to give you a little drop motivation. It's admittedly a bit sloppy, but squint and you'll get the idea.

The wheels look hot thats a given. I understand the tires sizes are different but are the rims themselves the same width and offset? If so what are the specs?

The centers are from my 2000 16" Maxima GXE wheels. I paid $560 for the G35 wheels on ebay. I got a major deal on them. I know they have them on ebay but they range from $1000 to $2000 with tire. I got both tires and wheels for $560., Can't beat that, huh?

I believe the front rims are have a smaller width than the back wheels. The front are 18x8 using 225/45 tires and the back are 18x8.5 using 245/45 tires.

Nice! Why would you waste your money on bizzaches, its not worth it unless she looks like Beounce. Save that money up and put it on the drop.

I know what your saying, but it is worth it cuz she gorgeous, hot, and keeps me happy . I'll manage, I'll get my hands on a nice drop kit on ebay just like I got my wheels, just a matter of time.

$560 Wow, I've seen this this low, but I always assumed someone would bid them up. Great buy.

You'd think that the tires are all worn out and needed to be replaced already but they had about 85% thread left. Got to keep your eye on those rare "buy it now" auctions. I'm pretty sure the seller had no clue of the value of these wheels. He just said he installed some 20" chrome wheels on his G35 and that the 18's were taking up space in his garage. Probably some rich kid or somethin'.

if you are cheap (like me)...just toss on a set of MaxSpeed springs. got mine for $66 new on ebay. nice 1"-2" drop with stock shocks - does the trick!

i plan on getting some GR-2s in the future (about $280)...but for now the stock shocks are holding up fine.
