GSS342 Walbro in-tank fuel pump works for VQ35s?

Anybody confirm/deny?

350z guys say Power Enterprise fuel pump for the 350z is just a repackaged Walbro GSS342.

Anybody try this on a VQ35 Max?

Thanks.

Ice,
I put in the Gss341 in my 3.5l, but it is a hair longer than the OE. I had to assemble it a little differently to make work. If there is any way to know if the gss342 is shorter by 1/16th inch it will definitaley work for you. Still didnt help my leaning out. by the way this is the item #2461369903 , $89 n Ebay if it helps.

Yeah, I've heard people use the GSS341 also, but I believe the only difference is the pickup orientation or something.

Anyways, from my searching, it seems like the GS34X is a drop in for 4th gens., but for 5th gens. it needs slight modification like grinding down the "knubs" a little to fit in the basket.

It not helping means the stock pump *WAS* supplying enough fuel. Your changing the pump didn't change the base 51psi, so your 270cc injectors are the problem.

You can either A)Swap in 2K-2K1/350Z injectors for 20-25cc more fuel and *HOPE* that's enough or B)get an inline pump/regulator like SR20DENs setup or C)buy the MSD #2350 fuel pump voltage booster *IF* it can be used withOUT boost. If it can't, I'm sure it can be modded or there is something similar available that's not boost dependent.
