Hi,

I heard there's an issue about solenoid on 5th gen 2k max trans.
I'm sure this has been dealt with many times, but since I can't do a search just quick answer or link to old posts will be appreciated.

what exactly is the issue?
deos that related to auto/manual trans?
is there a fix for that?

Just cause the search dont work doesnt mean you cant read the STICKY threads at the top.

Thanks for directing me to the TSB.

I guess this applies to 2k max auto as well as 2k I30, no 2k max 5sp is affected.
Can the TSB be done under warranty?

This is not a 5spd issue. 5spds cant have a shift lag since you the one doing the shifting. The TSB can be done in warranty.
