Wow....I never let people ride in the back of my car...but if I did I would probably have a setup just like that. Very well done.

well this bastard woke me up at like 8:30 since i told him to but i was still hungover from gettin home at 5. we started around 9, didn't stop for anything except some breakfast my sister cooked for us....finished around.......6:30 or so both cars. but the preparation took the longest. we had to get headrest covers made, and also looking for the right size headrests that'd fit them. i chose 4th gen headrests, playero chose 89 Stanza headrests.

all in all, this has been about a few weeks, but it all got put together and finalized today. wiring through the seats is really the easiest part.

will the tv's not fit the 5th gen headrest themselves, is that why you went with a different headrest.

yeah. that's exactly why we went. it's been known and it was obvious that 7" just wouldn't fit. we just couldn't settle with anything less. i have a 6.5" eclipse unit, playero has a 7" eclipse unit, so it was either 7" or nothing. i had suggested the use of different headrests, and we went from corolla headrests to g35 to fx45 headrests. they all fit, they're all larger, and the fx45 pieces may even be a straight swap. unfortunately, they're $350+ for just ONE. i had 4th gen seats laying around so i took those headrests and playero went shopping at a local junkyard and found the stanza rests. it turned out to be much cheaper with minimal modding. i swapped the poles from the headrests. playero had them cut off and then had a bar placed underneath and then new poles, at the correct distance from each other so that they mounted right onto the seats.
