what's the difference between Warspeed and catman y pipe

Hi everyone, I have a 2k3 Maxima and I'm looking forward to buy a y pipe for my car. I'm not sure which one is better so I would like to see if someone could tell me more about both y pipes. Also, I would like to keep my stock muffler on as well. I like to know if it is loud or not. I hope someone who has it can tell me more about it.

the difference is that we've seen people lose peak whp with the warpspeed yet there are no independent dyno's of 02-03's with the cattman....

the difference is with the group deal they just had you could have bought 2 warpspeed pipes with money left over for beer when your friends came to help you install, and 5 years latter if the first one rusted you have anther one to put in. over 100 people just bought warpspeed they were selling them for $160 shipped warpspeed budha56

I just ordered the Cattman Y on the group deal and a B-pipe from SWA. Thanks Alex. Good deal IMO, but more than warpspeed. Install next week.

stainless steel is good for people that live where they salt the roads in the last 23 years i lived in Miami that's happened 00000000times i am sure aluminized will work just fine at half the price

i usually consider what the fastest maximas on the org are running and go with that

nealoc187: cattman y-pipe
mardigrasmax: warpspeed y-pipe
alot of socal maximas run stillen y-pipe
i think ceasar runs a budget or warpspeed also

WSP - aluminized steel (much cheaper) and SS. Fitment issues.
Budget - SS. Cheaper than Cattman butn not sure about fitment issues
Cattman - SS (the most expensive one of all). Fitment issues.

I think I wanna go with catman cuz it's stainless steel. Also, how's the sound of a catman y pipe with stock muffler?

the cattman has fitment issues? Not that I know of for the vq30de's and -k's

what about stillen then? I like the fact that its ceramic coated

First define what we are talking about, 00/01 or 02/03. The 00/01 have two SS Y- pipes to chose from Cattman or Stillen. The 02/03 has only one SS Y-pipe, Cattman. The Cattman design on the 02/03 is by far the best out there, but there is an issue with the Y being a little too short causing banging issues. Brian Catts knows about this.

For me there is only one choice, Cattman.

correction:
00/01 (4 to choose from)
-cattman is ss steel
-stillen is ceramic coated over some type of steel
-warpspeed is aluminized steel
-budget is also ss steel

02/03 (2 to choose from)
-warpspeed has a y pipe along with cattman

they are all designed to improve performance. But honestly it would be too hard to tell which one gave the most as all maximas run differently and put down different hp/tq numbers.
