5 speed limiter ?

does any on else out there in the new york,connecticut area have a 5 speed with a top speed limiter of 131,mines does and from what i am reading 2k maxima se should have a top speed of 145,i'm thinking about taking my car to the dealer,is my ecu wrong what do you guys think i should do? car is fast but if it's supposed to do 145 then it should tried it 3 times and i can't go over 131. thanks in advance.

not sure man. my 01 max se 5 speed is still new (only 1800 miles) so i have not tried to top it out yet. but i will let you know how it turns out. my advice is go to the dealer and ask

I can say that mine is at least 140... Though it looks more impressive in KM (226).

Does the fuel cutoff or does it just stick at 131?

The GXEs are locke at 112 due to the H rated tires.

no...if it were set at 112, i'd be bumping off my speedlimiter like everyday!! it's suppose to be set at 131 or something, which is more convincing...now, what the heck happened to mine?
