Strut installed now steering probs

I've installed my Tokico Illuminas in the front (rears this weekend) and afterwards whenever I turn the wheel extreme left or right, I hear this knocking sound coming from my front right rear well only. It only does it when I'm going very slowly or at startup. I followed the instructions from many websites. I supported the wheel arm during install too. Did I mess up the steering or should I just get an alignment (which it now sorely needs). Oh, yeah, get Illuminas. They smooth out the ride sooo much (and I've only installed the front ones!!).

When I put my springs in I had the same noise you are describing. When I went back in to put my Illuminas on I noticed that the front right strut was put in with the "OUT" mark on the top hat facing the firewall. I put it back in with the "OUT" mark facing toward the tire and the noise is now gone.

struts

Thanks man. will do. Probably should've wondered what the OUT meant on the strut. Damn, I hate it when its something simple as that.

That's what I was trying to say. I drove mine for 2 months and it didn't go away.
