·Carbon Fiber Engine Cover· 3.0 and 3.5 covers..

I am proud to offer to you 5th gener's another carbon fiber option. This time I wanted to something that was a little bit more affordable and something that a lot of people should easily be able to pick up.

This carbon fiber engine cover will be available for both 3.0 and 3.5 engine covers, however we will need 2 seperate deals for each. There will need to be 10 people minimum for each to get this project going. There will be a $50.00 deposit that will go towards production cost and the final price. To avoid confusion, here is the breakdown:

$50.00 up front deposit
$185.00 upon completion of this product (COD or paid in full before shipping)

Total for this item: $235.00 shipped to your door

We will be making the entire engine cover out of carbon fiber, and will be retaining any stock lines/shapes that are currently apart of the engine cover. We can however rid some lines if there is a general concensus to do so. Just to be completely clear here are pictures of the cover (in Dixit's engine bay, thanks Dixit) to show exactly what is being made here:

Jose at Ionic Dynamics stands behind his work and will guaranty fitament and quality. Once 10 people have made their deposit, via paypal/check/money order (paypal preferred), production can begin and the final product will be ready to ship 4-6 weeks thereafter. I would like to get 10 people for the 3.0 engine cover and for the 3.5 engine cover so that everyone has the option.

Both the 3.0L and 3.5L engine cover donors have been found.

If you are interested in this please send the deposit via paypal to ssjztien@aol.com and make sure to note what engine cover you have (3.0 or 3.5) and your general information. I will keep everyone informed on how many people have made deposits and jumped on this deal. If this project takes 6 weeks, it is $40.00 a week

Thanks,

Jason Sadler

you already have the holes to put the AE cover on. you just need the bracket and cover and it will work with the stock locations on the 2K or 2K1. i have one on mine but painted it black.

Sure thing.. it is only double sided sticky taped on there isn't it? If not, we can accomodate for it.

And yes, there are 2 engine covers for 5th gens, we are willing to do both.

Jason,

I am down to put in for this deal. If not for myself, for the rest of the 5th Gen guys IMO. Just to give us another option for a nice piece to help dress up our cars. For all the guys who complain that the 4th Gen gets more options than the 5th Gen does, you should definately consider jumping on this so you can say you helped contribute to getting a new product for the 5th Gen. 4th gen guys get alot more deals on things like this because they get alot of support so... that being said let me be the 1st to contribute... SHOW SOME SUPPORT!
Jason you have paypal.!

I understand that $235.00 is not in everyone's budget. However, this is a pretty reasonable price, especially considering how complex this piece is. It is hard for people to grasp how much carbon fiber products, custom carbon fiber products at that, cost. Everything is hand laid and has quality guarantied.

If this deal is not for you, I would appreciate it if you would just leave your comments to a PM or e-mail as to not clutter up this thread.

Thank you.

Question: Does it replace the existing one or does it just sits on top of it? It seems like it just sits on top of the old one, but that cant be, can it? If this is just a demonstration of how it looks, can you actually install it and post a pic of that?

Thanks,
Tim.

Bro, you should make our air scoop carbon fiber like the GruppeM Then it would look killer and be functional to boot to justify the price. Peace_

This is a full on carbon fiber engine cover replacement. Made out of carbon fiber, does not just lay on top of any stock piece. Will retain all lines and emblems as well as mounting points.

I'd not want to think about how many people would complain about a $600+ intake.. it's a whole different market of people with a whole different thought process. People on this board want rolex quality for casio prices.

Lots of things going on at one time.. Also trying not to kill Jose's setup costs and initial down on materials all at once.

What rolley do you have, a friend of mine is a dealer..?

Hadn't thought about doing CF pillars, wonder how the did for the 4th gens.. if they did well then I would consider setting something up for you guys. I'd like to get the ball rolling on this project though.

Thanks for the kind words..

Looks like there are 4 3.0L people on board and still only 1 3.5L owner.

If there is more information you guys are requesting or something I am missing please let me know. I understanding that pricing is hard to swallow from the beginning, but I am not trying to hide anything or surprise people at the end of completion.

I am curious as to the point of this post, I asked very clearly 2 times that if you weren't interested and wanted to comment to PM me or e-mail me. I'd appreciate any comments of this sort kept out of this thread and sent directly to myself. Thank you.
