first off..hawk only makes front pads for our 2k2-2k3's

thirdly I have axxis back pads and they are also sucking major a$$crack......

I will be switching them this weekend with some ceramics

GET OEM CERAMICS!!!! NO NOISE LOW DUST!!!

axxis are metal...it seems metal pads really squeal on our rotors...

you can get Raybestos QS from pep boys, get the same Bendix CT3 lifetime ceramic low dust pads from auto barn that I got or OEM

I think EBC makes ceramics too

They only have fronts on custommaxima.com. Hawk doesn't make rear pads for our cars and as far as I know Axxis doesn't either. I bought Raybestos QS's like everyone here recommended and they will be installed on friday. I'm getting OEM's for the rear.

I have always heard that the stock pads were good enough. I have never been happy with them though. Although it is a low dust pad, I feel as though they don't have enough bite and are generally not smooth when stopping.

The G35C and 350Z are using different pads because they have a lot more dust on the front wheels compared to the Maximas.

I have axxis MM on front and rear, just put them on. seem to be working well for me. finally started working the brakes more. i replaced all four rotors at the same time. for the price you can't beat axxis mm.

For the rears (which don't brake as hard anyway), use OEM ceramics or Raybestos QuietStop rears (from Pep Boys)

I put on axxis mm and brembo rotors all around. The stopping power is incredible, it's like night and day compared to the oem pads. Only downside is they squealed for a few months though that has gone away as they've worn in.

well after all the "Stealership" did me right..not only did they have the pads in stock, they were only $35..installed right after, and no more scraping noise..those pads were just about done, anyone know why they only lasted 23K??

Whoa, people lets not talk so much shi0t on axxis. I dont know about the metal masters, but the Ultimates are ceramic and they are a huge improvement over stock. Ive used oem, rebestos qs (omg these were terrible), and a few axxis ultimates. The axxis were the best hands down. Carbotech Bobcats are better but they are expensive.
