What is the designation of the transmission code for a 2002 Max with LSD? I am trying to figure our if mine has it or not.

First, I'm assuming you have a six speed manual. Autos don't have it. Second, look at your pedals. If they're the drilled medal pedals, you have it. If they're regular rubber pedals, you don't. Third, look under the hood. On the fire wall will be a plate with the transaxle code. I can't remember exactly but if there is an "H" somewhere in the code, either the beginning or the end, you have it. No 'H', no HLSD.
