Rotor brake in?
Accelerate to 60 mph, apply brakes firmly, do NOT SLAM them.
As soon as speed drops to around 15-20 mph, accelerate to 60 again, and stop.
Do this a total of three times.
Your brakes should get very hot and start smoking. This helps to "bed" the pad.
You'll get that nasty burning smell as well. Once its done, try not to use the brakes heavily until it cools down for a few minutes with highway driving.
If the rotors came with that zinc coating, this will help to get rid of it and any greening that was on the pads.
Make sure you check the Raybestos instructions, some of the newer brake pads do NOT require bedding.

Not to sound stupid and all, but where can someone actually do this break in procedure? Everywhere I go in NY is always crowded so it's kind of hard to slow down to 15-20mph a total of 3 times. Can we gett away with not breaking in the rotors?

in old school simple terms for any rotor, you gradually heat them up until red hot. then let it cool. done.
in reality, nobody really does that, and i have gone both routes, and found no difference in performance or life of the brake components.

I used to make good use of Shea Stadium's large parking lots back in the days. Now they close them off due to security reasons.
It you take the Van Wyck Expressway (North) and get off just before you hit the bridge and get under the bridge overpass, there are quiet back/side roads there you can use.
