Service and Maintenance Manual?

I found a factory service manual CD on ebay? Is that the same as the booklet that comes with the car when it is new? When we bought our Max used, it only have the owners manual and the lemon law manual. It references to the service and repair manual in the owners manual...is this CD on ebay the same thing?
All I really want is to know when all the scheduled maintenance is and when it should be done.
