Installed 2k3 HIDs on 2k1 but high beams don't work - HELP

I installed 2k3 HIDs in my 2k1. Since these were removed from a 2k3 and not purchased new, I cut the plugs from the 2k3 and transferred them with the housing into my 2k1 (and cut the 2k1 plugs and transferred those to the 2k3).

I thought I wired everything correctly b/c the clearance, turn signals and low beams (HID) work fine. When I flash the high beams the clearance and low beams strobe and the high beams do not come on.

Also, the high beams don't work in the 2k3 with the 2k1 lights. The turn signals, clearance and low beams work though.

The grounds should be fine for the high beams. I think the + are wired correctly too. Is there something I'm forgetting? An extra fuse somewhere? How did you guys wire them? Thanks.

Check out the FAQ here :
https://maxima.org/maxfaqs/sub_light...tml#Lighting_5

"9004 and H-4 bulbs are dual filaments, it contains both high beam and low beam filaments where as the HID bulb is a single filament bulb."

Peace

I didn't install a kit. I replaced the entire housing with a 2003 Maxima's housing that has the HIDs stock.

There are three wires from the 2k1:

If they are Hi / low / - , then I dont know what's wrong
If they are Hi / low / + , then I can fix it.

I guess that's what I really need to know.
Are all the prongs on a light bulb + ?
Or is one of them a ground (-) connection?

I wired the low and what I thought was ground from the 2k1 to the low beam harness of the 2k3 and the hi from the 2k1 to the hi of the 2k3. The ground of the 2k3 for the hi I wired to the other ground of the 2k3 low. So if those are not really grounds then I need to re-wire those wires. I just need to know if those are grounds or not.

I wired the low and what I thought was ground from the 2k1 to the low beam harness of the 2k3 and the hi from the 2k1 to the hi of the 2k3. I have these sweet 2k3 Maxima HIDs that only partly work. Come on!
