people with 19s...question?

I just got a pair of 19 inch rims, with a 40 offset, i was wondering if anyone has this, and if so what tire size are going with? Does it rub? What type of drop do you have on your car? Does it fit nicely?

my main question is, do you think 245/35/19's are a good idea?

I have a 35 mm offset with no rubbing. I also got 5mm spacers for the back so I will be at 30 mm. Those tires will be fine.

I'm at 235/35/19 without any problem and im tucking in the back. I've had 3 adults sit in the back for a 30 minute drive and still no rubbing. I'm satisfied!

They're all good to go, but please post this in the Wheels/Tires forum next time.

Seeing as how you're in California, which from what I have heard has vastly better quality roads than here in the Northeast, you shouldnt have any problems, fitment, pothole or otherwise with the 25 series tire. How wide are your wheels? If they are 19x8.5 you may want to consider 245/35's for a little wider tire.....just a thought, but either way you're all good

I live in San Diego and am amaized at all the craters in the roads here. This is coming from Colorado where the snow and ice make the roads pretty bad.

San Diego's not too bad. Ive never had any damage to my wheels in SD . If you go to LA, you really see some crappy west coast streets.......Im running 245/35's ..but Im considering a step up to 255/35's....

MyNismo

i got rims that are 40 offset, and i believe 245 might be too wide, how wide are your rims? What's your tire size with the 35 mm offset? 245/35/19?

Would 245/40 rub with a 1.5 drop? I know the speedo will be off by a little but the little extra should help protect the rims right?

for your info, the wheels/tire section is in the for sale section...sorry to tell you, i'm not selling any wheels. I have a question about a fifth gen, so i think i'm in the correct section. If your not the person who's supposed to be monitoring this site, then don't try do it.

Buddy you obiviously dont pay attention...if you scroll down farther from the for sale section you will see the "tire and wheels" section...so before you go crackin on other people look first..otherwise you just made your self look like an idiot..
