Which Y-pipe Is Best For A '00 Se
I have a 2000 se 5 spd and was wondering which y-pipe would be best. stillen, cattman, or any others? also which cat back would be best as well? any suggestions/replys would help. thanks
I have a y-pipe from budget, and it was a great deal. I felt a definate power increase and it was a great price of 180.00! The budget y-pipe is also stainless steel but they paint it with a grey coating. Im very happy with it. Also id go with the greddy evo II!
price wise.. i would go with Budget or Warpspeed..
Cattman and Stillen are more expensive... no real reason to pay that much..
I heard Warpspeed is a bit more quiet and have a nice flex section.. I think i'm going to go with an Aluminized warpspeed pipe.. i live in the northeast so we see snow and i'll get rust but i dont really care.. it'll last like 3-4 years which is longer than i plan to keep the car..

In your stock y-pipe you have a couple of "pre-cats" that really slow down the flow. Also the piping is only 2.25" and an aftermarket y-pipe is usually 2.50. The aftermarket y-pipe is more of a straight shot also. It sould be every maxima owners first mod!
