FSTB not for HLSD?

I see on Stillen's website that the FSTB they have listed for the 02-03's has a note that says they're not for HSLD 03's (I have an 02, but I figure there isn't a difference).

Is there a reason why having an LSD would have any influence whether (or what design) of FSTB you should have?

I don't see how HLSD that is really a apart of "tranmission" that is related to a FSTB which is suspension related.

You should E-mail Stillen and ask them why?

It doesn't make any sense unless Stealin' has a more expensive one "special for hlsd" for suckers.

I have a 03 with HLSD and I have had a FSB ($20 on ebay) on for 6 months, all I have noticed is better control and more stability during higher speed turns. I would definatly recomend the RSB as a first investment, its like night and day on our single rear axel setup.

Do you remember the name of the seller you got it from on EBay? I've read about the only difference between the various FSTB's is appearance, that they all do exactly the same thing.

Just use the search feature on ebay and type in 00 maxima. All the strut bars will be listed as 00-03, because their virtually a universal fit since their adjustable. hope that helps

Stillen's catalog also says that the FSTB is not for cars with HLSD. I would imagine that there is a reason for this. Otherwise, why would Stillen make it so less cars (ones with HLSD) could use the bar? Makes no sense, I would think they would want to sell the bar to everyone if it is possible. So.....there must be a reason behind it, there is not a seperate FSTB listed for HLSD cars. Here's an idea - call Stillen and ASK them. The number is 800-431-3373.
