How are you using your PC in the car? You mention GPS. Do you have some type of hand-held device in the cabin area you are reading the data from the PC?
I have thought about picking up an older laptop to have for miscellanous purposes such as this in the car. Ideally, a PC which could be hooked up to the car to gather diagnostic information. I do not think this is a possibility at the moment. Is there a way to gather such information from a car with some custom programming?
What other ideas do you have for installing a PC in the car? I think it was mentioned MP3 good be played from the PC through the car stereo.
Anything else? I'm a computer guy and this interests me.
