Bulb or Electrical problem

I have a 2000 Maxima SE. I bought the car at the end of November. I noticed the left tail light was burned out. I bought some sylvania bulbs. About a month later the brake light was burned out. So I replaced the same bulb again. Two days later it burned out again. I thought I put in the wrong bulb for some reason. So I looked and the buld number was correct. Now as far as I know and can tell the car has not been in a wreck. I did not touch the bulb when I installed it. Where do I start????

that sound weird... it might be a wiring problem....
or just a bulb problem....
change em one more time.. if it happens again.. take it to where u bought it from and demand that it gets fixed

My sister has a 2000 maxima GXE, I replaced a burned driver side brake light and less than a month later, she brought it to my attention that it is out again! I thought it was probably i bad bulb, but now that I see this post, it makes me think twice. We may be on to something. I'll just replace it and see how it goes.
