1st to 2nd shift

1st to 2nd shift
is it just me or it seems that our tranys don't shift very quick from 1st to second to me it seems like a delay of sort, that and for some rewason my top end peformance does't feel like it should any ideas? i got a 2003 automotic.
any help? ideas?

Welcome to the Nissan AutoTragic group.
You might be in need of a transmission fix (TSB) from Nissan. (If it applies to 2003 models) If might be free of charge as well. Visit your local dealer and complain about the slow shift, if your car is still under warranty you'll probably get it done @ n/c.
