Nice car for your bro, but I like yours much better, personally. The 6th gen exterior is growing on me, but I am definitely not feeling that interior - the steering wheel looks like it came off a ford pickup truck....but oh...that engine!

I agree with that statement. I dont mind the steering wheel but, Nissan should have put a normal dashboard cluster in it instead of using one from a crotch rocket. I could live with the rest of it IF I had to. $.02

To me it looks too much like an Altima, and that being said, looks like a "lower class" to the 5th gen. I like the 5th gen much better.

Oh, so I'm a homo because I don't like your steering wheel, you douchebag? Go back to the 6th gen forum where all your buddies will jock your car, because it's just like theirs. Guess what? You don't have to like my steering wheel, and I don't have to like yours. Thats how these forums work. Amazing, isn't it?

The small center hub and straight spokes on the 6th-gen steering wheel just looks like it should go on a truck or SUV, that's all I'm saying. It's kind of "rugged" looking for a sports sedan.

Oh, and please learn to use some punctuation, b1tch.

yeah I hate it when people get all defensive over little things. If he read my first post, he would have noticed that I basically said I was happy for TitaniuMax03's bro for his new car, that the exterior is growing on me, I love the engine, but that I'm not big on the steering wheel and interior. Why do people come on these forums if they can't take a little commentary/criticism?

Thanks for all the replies people....everybodys got their own opinion about everything anyway. I was coming on these boards thinking that the maxima community was all about maximas. Whats with all the beef between 5th and 6th geners? I personally like both of them. But thats just me. Im happy with what Ive got and Im happy with every other max....theyre all beautiful cars! "Cant we all just get along???"

sorry dude, I just came on to say congrats to your bro and comment on his car (+ and -) and also say I liked yours too, til that other guy had to go and start calling names - I had to come back to that. Anyways, congrats to your bro on the new car. And I like yours even better. Peace.

Thx for sharing the nice pix of both cars!! Since many of us on the 5th gen board bought our 5th gen Maxes after the 6th gen was officially revealed on Jan 7th 2003 (and yet I forget my wedding anniversary) at the detroit auto show, it is no surprise we on the this board tend to prefer...

Bruce - Two great looking Maximas. And your ride is lookin sick! Definately one of my favorite 5th gens. Those 20's... I thought you took these off and were hunting for some 19's. Are you keeping these just for show now? Oh, and the new exhaust looks great. Just the right size and in no way rice. Now you need to get shots with those 20's at dusk with the DDE's on.

EDIT>> Where'd you pick up that exhaust and how much?

And 2k3TitaniumSe - Please resize your enormous sig!

757 Representing the Peninsula! black and Majestic Blue are my favorite colors for the 6th gen. I would like to see the two brothers swapt wheels and take pics of their rides I think the factory 18" wheels would look better on the 5th gen and the 20" would look better on the 6th gen! Just a suggestion...
