Do i need to add a RSB after a drop?
Do i need to add a RSB after a drop?
Hey guys, ive been thinking about going with a drop soon. Im thinking of going w/ illuminas and progress springs or eibach springs, but thats beside the point. i know that a drop will help eliminate body roll (which i have had a close call with), but i want to know if i drop the max, will the RSB make that much of a difference? i dont want to waste $265 on the cattman GD if dropping my car is all i need to do to help with body roll. thanks.

RSB is the first mod you should do to a maxima. It makes an immediate and HUGE difference in handling....BTW how are you spending 265 on the Cattman RSB?...they go for around $100. I paid a little over 200 for my Stillen RSB, but the Cattman/Addco/Progress RSBs should be about half that.
I'm running Progress and Illuminas and love the combo. It's a low even drop and the ride is still near stock on 2F/3R. I'm dumbfounded why they aren't a more popular choice. The Eibachs would offer better handling, but the less noticable drop and stiff ride turned me off. You may also want to look at H-techs. They're quickly gaining popularity and offer a great looking even drop.
Definately get a RSB. I still feel a fair amount of body roll on the corners with my drop unless I crank the Illuminas up to 3 or 4. Don't get me wrong, the roll is reduced significantly, but I still plan to get the RSB to clear up the remaining roll.

the rear sway bar is a great mod for the money but you don't have to buy an expensive one. They all do about the same thing. I've had my Addcco for about 2 years and no problems. I think I got if for around $100.
thanks for all of the replies guys. im not buying a RSB for $265, it was with a FSTB too, but im starting to see that alot of you guys have a progress RSB with some other brand of FSTB, so it seems ok to me. thanks for all of the help.
