Does RSB brand matter?

Is there a difference in handling between the different brands of RSBs? I've read a couple of places that there is a difference. I'm looking at getting one soon. I'm willing to spend the extra money for a Stillen RSB, which is what supposedly has the best handling. But don't want to spend the extra money if it's not needed. Thanks.

RSB's work the same way

your max will handle the same way with a stillen as it will with an adco or with a progress/cattman or a ebay stillen knockoff

The stillen is supposed to be easiest to adjust and offer the best fitment. Some have complained of rubbing issues with the addco and progress bars. However, proper adjustment (in some cases minor modification) should resolve most of these issues. Performance is generally considered comparable between all RSB's for the 5th gen.

Thanks for the more detailed info housecor. I'm still not sure which one I'm going to go with. I'm still new to the modding thing. I'm starting with adding a strut brace and a sway bar. I'm mostly interested in improving the handling. May decide to race eventually, but for right now, this is my everyday car that I enjoy driving. I drive pretty aggressively, and would like to have it handle much better. I will eventually upgrade the springs and struts, but this should satisfy me...for now.

I agree as far as fit/finish go, and ease of installation. It's a perfect fit (the Stillen that is). As for the others, I would imagine they work just as well if fitted correctly. I can only speak for the Stillen, which I very much like. Can't speak for Addco/Cattman/Progress bc I haven't had them....

About a year ago, someone installed all three RSB's. Stillen Addco and Progress. He noticed no difference in any of them performance wise. None of them are hard to install. Stillen is the easiest of the easy, but really they are all very easy to install. The only issue with Progress and the Addco is you have to put the bushings 4 inches away from the bends. Any further will cause a banging over large bumps.
