Hello!

New to the board (obviously).

My wife and I just agreed to purchase a black 2000 GLE last night. We haven't taken delivery yet and are going through all of the financing crap.

Currently, we have a 1972 Chevelle Malibu and a 2000 Acura Integra LS. We're planning for the future and decided that it was time the little 'teg was replaced. It is a good car and I hate to sell it, but owning more than 2 vehicles in southern california gets expensive.

Anyway, I just wanted to say 'hi' to everyone. I'm a member on an S-series (S-10/Sonoma, etc) board and an admin of a west coast general automotive board as well as member of a few others. I hope this board is as fun and addicting as they are.

Welcome! And trust me, yes, it's addicting. Just look @ my post count - I made nearly all those since I bought my '03 in October.

Just decide right now if you're ever going to mod your car. Cause if you're unsure, this forum will give you WAY too many ideas...

Welcome to the Org. I too traded my 94 Integra for my Maxima. I almost bought a 00 SE but made the 02 SE fit into my budget.

Thanks for all of the welcomes! I'm addicted to the s-series board I'm on at the moment, I've been a member there since 2002, moderator for almost as long and have over 4000 posts, so I can feel your pain. haha

As far as modifing goes. I have a musclecar that I've been working on since I was 15. I don't have enough money to do what I want to that car, so I don't know if I'll have money to do what I want to the Maxima, but I do know that there will be a time that my wife will get ****ed at me for modifying what she's going to consider to be the 'family truckster'. (Pretty cool family-truckster if you ask me )

The s-series board I'm on is http://forums.s-series.org It was actually the first original s-series site on the web as is my understanding. My handle there is "72Malibu"

I've been accused of advertising on other boards I've been on by providing links to boards I frequent, so I provided information ONLY because you asked. It's not my intention to steal or recruit, but if you're or anybody is interested in an s-series board or just a west coast general automotive board, I can provide links to them.

I also frequent a board run by a good friend of mine that's pretty much geared toward southern californian auto enthusiasts. If anybody's interested in checking them out, I can provide links. I just don't want to seem like I'm recruiting, I plan to stick around here so long as I'm treated better than I was on team-integra.net... they're kind of ***** from my experience.

welcome, a black max is a good choice! I enjoy mine infinitely more than my first-edition (1987) Integra! (though not as much as my '70 triumph gt6 when its running!)

This place will get you addicted to modding, so watch out!
