Suspension Squeaking..................Anoying

Buddy of mine and I changed his OEM shocks w/ a set of slightly used OEM shocks. About 50 miles after installation, driverside front suspension started squeaking. Seems like whenever there's a slightest bump on the road, suspension would squeak.

Yesterday, he got a wheel alignment done. Squeaks were reduced greately. I couldn't hear any squeaks in his car. After about 150 miles of driving, squeaking came back.

Any ideas?

Why would you switch from OEM to OEM?

Ahh, cool. Did you put the spring isolators on and have the springs seated right?

Spring isolators?

If springs weren't seated properly, it would make a popping sound but rather it's a high pitch squeaking.

i had a similar problem on my honda, i know its a diff car but symptoms were same, when i would go over bumps or if the suspension would flex i had squeakin noises... les schwabbie lubricated something, have no clue what cause its been about 7-9 months but i've had no squeaking at all since then... its worth a try... PM me if you need help i can find out what they lubricated...

Awesome, thanks! I didn't even think about checking Haynes since there isn't one released yet for the 5.5 gen.

I will once I hear something back from him.

I'm going to go take his wheel off and go nuts w/ WD-40 to see if it will help any.
