Gauges

I want to get some gauges for my 2k but there is nothing what I like for that year , I found some for 02/03. What is the difference between 00/01 and 02/03?
Is it only that 02/03 has extra square hole for trip meter (whatever it is)? Anyone knows? Maybe someone know where to get some gauges for 2k?
Thanks for any information.

Well that depends, Since i'm assuming on your current one is an SE. So you see, the 00-01 has white face out gauge on all four. The 02-03 has white gauge on the tach and the speedo but the gas and temp are black facing. Other than the extra hole you mention is the outside temp, DTE (distance to empty gas) and MPG i believe.

I want to get aftermarket reverse gauges but they doesn't make it for 2k only for 99 down or 02/03. And I want to know if the gauges for 02/03 will work for me.I dont know if there is any problems with wires or something. The stock ones are so dark

yeah, the difference is that hole below the tach. they do make reverse ones for the 00-01, heres the link. they make them for auto tranny but just take out the middle thing for P-R-N-D-2-1, that part isnt indiglo so it shouldnt have any wires attached. enjoy.

I believe that you can use a cluster out of a 02-03, then put on the indiglo gauges. If I'm not mistaken I believe I did read that somewhere before , and don't worry about it not keeping up with your current mileage, its stored in the computer and when you put the new gauge cluster on there everything switches over. Correct me if I'm wrong someone...

nothing switches, the computer throws an error code readable by the consult II only... mileage still works but there is that code deep in the system.

way to get around that is to take apart the cluster and swap all the gauges (speedo, tach, fuel, coolant)..

so basically you are only changing the faces, not any of the circuitry.
