STILLEN's kit is add-on not full bodykit. Maybe the chick wanted a full bodykit. I think sarona/vis/kombat are all the same theres really no difference. But yes the STILLEN aero kit will fit nicely and give the car a near factory sport look.

Their stuff is cheap and fitment is crap.....get a stillen kit and you'll be 1000000X happier

Maxxin over all you have a very nice ride its a start good luck on finishing your project. Also alot of the performance mods you have listed dont exist for our cars,im sure you will learn more about the maxima in general the longer you stay on the .org. Alot of maxima enthusiast on this site think the conservative look is the best way to go and is biast against anything else. To each their own and finally dont get chrome rims please...

I don't like the kit either, but to each his/her own. Everything else looks good...hope you don't lose the modding bug!

But if you're gonna ask for opinions, you gotta be ready to take negative ones too...sorry...

Mr. hater, IMO the stillen BUMPER is UGLIER than the sarona/vis/kombat kit. Yes the stillen fits better, but that complete stillen bumper, isnt good for anything. Its not elegant, its not agressive. its ugly. I've only seen it look good once, on a black maxima, with the black bumper, with black grille. Oh wait, i could barely see the details.

The kit looks good. I think you need to get some wheels.

rdmwheels.com

Perhaps 18"s or 19"s Volk Racing GT-7 or GT-P. That's just me.

The only part I don't like about the kit is the rear bumper... what is it with that look? I see all kinds of riceburners nearby with that, it's just hard on the eyes IMHO. I think it's the fact that the overall curvature of the rear end looks too sharp, while the rest of the kit looks smooth.

Hey trace, its me pablosal. Thanks again for the fogs. Just got them a few days ago.
The kit looks ok but I'm still saving cash for my stillen. You should of been a bit more patient and thought about your purchase a bit more. If you were going to get the stillen kit later, you should of just waited and saved more cash.
As far as rims, don't waste your time with 17's, get some 18's or 19's if funds are there.
give me a holla if you need anything else. PEACE

personally i like the subtleness of the stillen kit but that kit gives the max a real agressive look... no soccer mom car. sweet ride maxxin

Hey Tracy, I like your car but I do agree you need some wheels. Have you thought about what your car might look like with the G35 Sport Coupe Wheels I know some people are running those. I am not sure what you have to do if anything to get them to work properly. Just a thought. For your exh. are you looking for a cat back or just something to give you a nice tone. I wanted to hear my car a bit but I did not want it too loud and also I did not want to spend several hundred dollars on a cat back. I've always like the look of the sleeve that goes over the dual tips on 00-01. So I went with a just a muffler swap and left the resonator in place. The pics of the muffler only work with yahoo users so sorry if you can't see it. That muffler may not work with your body kit. Anyway I hope this helps. Nice ride

GUys, ease up on the sarona,

I HAVE MONEY for a stillen Mr. NT2SHABBY, but i don't like the kit. I loved my sarona but it was a cheap POS fiberglass kit that never fit right (plus the body kit paint was off from my cars paint).

I removed it not becuase i didn't like the design, but because it is CHEAP, and the fibercrap started cracking, and then to top it, i got hit by a POS NSX. Plus my insurance said take it off.

BUt if it was me, and it was URETHANE, i would pay DOUBLE for that kit, because i think it looked amazing on my car. Call me a RICER? for what? should i call you a HIPHOP RAPSTAR for rollin on 19's (which i am getting anyways).

I don't understand why people hate the sarona, but its to each their own. I personally get offended when dumb idiots go out and call a car RICER.. I think her car looks clean other than the idiot NEUSPEED, SUPERCHIPS comment.

First off, a MAXIMA is an ugly car to begin with (and i can say that because i owned 2 (2k2/2k3) and used to drive a 4th gen 99, ALL SE's.) And i thnk the sarona made me enjoy my ugly maxima more than ever.

Besides, i don't like the STillen, nor do I like the ugly OCTANE wannabe R34 kit.. To each their own, but don't be playa hatin.

if you think the maxima is an ugly car, then why did you get several of them?

Because, for the money, and the power, and the features, it can't be beat..

Besides, i never buy a car based on looks anyways, my car before my maximas was a 96 Protege, and that car was also ugly, but it laid it down - power/features/price etc.

I personally love the sarona kit. but just hate that it is F/G thats why i went with the Octane front which is Urethane, and kept the sarona sides/rear.

I am considering the Octane kit only becuase its urethane in the front (where it counts) but i prefer the Sarona.

Tracy,
First of all welcome and it is great to have a female on board doing stuff to her car. First lesson. Pay not a single bit of attention to "it is crap" comments. I like the car. My personal taste is smoother and more subtle.
You have my respect for modding your car.

I NEVER see any girls with 5th gens. I saw a cute blond with a 5th gen the other day on 85 but I figure it's probably her husband's car.

It's ture, you don't see too many young women driving a 5th gen. Once, I saw a girl in 6spd Max with no mods on I-5 South. Unfortunately the traffic got heavy and the poor thing stall her car.

WE NEED PICS HERE. PLEASE!!!!!
