Looking to buy a Max

Recently,my Ford Taurus packed it in. Ive researched the Internet and have narrowed down my search for a reliable used car to Honda Accord,Toyota CAmry, Nissan Maxima. Took a 2000 Max se (56000 Km )for test drive and fell in love with this car. My questions are: Are there big problems with future breakdowns? such as Igintion Coils, O2 Sensor,Brakes,Suspension? Any other trouble spots I should look for?
Should I be using premium gas? Any pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ignition coils and the MAF sensor seem to be problematic. Of course people only post when they have probs, not when everything is working correctly. Both can be had for a decent price from Dave B. (whom pp here get there Nissan parts from). The front rotors seem to warp on some pp's cars. For a 2k1, I believe you should be using at least 91 octane. I have a 2k3, and love the car so far with the 20k I've put on it.

I have 2k SE with 75k miles on it. One of the O2s needs replacement and need to reflash my ECU - both common and well-known problems. My brakes judder a little but it's probably time to replace the rotors and pads anyways. Other than that, the car's been good to me for the past 21k miles.
