Man...how can u get to your rear lights from your trunk? I have a 2001. And what do you all think of these rear lights on a black Max?

pull back that felt stuff that lines the sides of the trunk. you will see the back of the light cluster and will have access to the blinker, brake, and reverse lights.

how would those tails look??

and before you even bring up the typical response..yes that lexus suv has clear tails, but it also has BIG @ss reflectors on the bumper

 

If its like my car there are probably clips that hold on the carpet behind the lights. Mine uses the luggage net rings as the clips.

Anyway, I think they will look nice! Illegal, Yes, but they would look good with clear sides and cleared out corners.

 

Oh... Not to be an ***... But clear side markers are illegal too (not that I agree with it).

I forgot about that part! Well in Chicago, they don't really stress about that other than in the suburbs where they don't have nothing else to do. But I'm very curious as to how it would look!?!

 

that they are, and i admit that. i wont agrue for hours how they are "legal" and "DOT" approved like people do with the clear tail
and clear tails stand out A LOT more then clear corners.
