2k ecu codes / checking
2k ecu codes / checking
Hey all,
sorry for the newb question, I looked thru the stickies but only saw an answer for 2k2+.. anyway
My dad's 2000 cel is on, and I dunno how to check it without an odb-II scanner. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Drive to your local Autozone or parts store and they'll pull code for you and clear it for FREE.
Then come back here and post it or if it stays off, fugggedaboutit.
My guess it cat malfunction code or 02-sensor.

Yeah, I had heard that autozone does it.. if that's not feasible though, is there any way to do it without a scanner? I know for 4th gen there is, and for 2k2+ according the to stickies.. just want to know if there is a way for 2000's..
thanks
