When YJ goes to the street races... He doesn't race. He knows his car is slow. Therefore YJ tries to video tape stuff now. Well YJ decided to race a camero tonight at the street races. He beat my by 4 car lenghts cause that thing was an ss and super fast. He kept taunting me so i had to lose with pride. Well after the race we all turn off our lights and decided to see who was up next. Well i see this car in the horizon and think nothing of it. Then the strobes and flashes come on. I was in my car already and in front of everyone ready to leave. Well i decided to run but he gets right behind me. So i just stay in the car. He personally interviews all 20 cars there. finally he gets to mine.
Cop>>> What are you doing out here?
YJ>>> Just with my friend David
Cop>>> were you racing?
YJ>>> No sir just observing
Cop>>> your car looks nice... I bet you its fast
YJ>>> I wouldn't know sir... I don't race
Cop>>> Can i see your liscence
YJ>>> ok
Cop>>> is this a picture of you?
YJ>>> yes sire
Cop>>>> Step out of the car
YJ>>>> gets out
Cop>>> get back in the car.
Cop goes away for 20 minutes
comes back and he goes have a good evening... You've been warned... You're lucky you didn't leave and just stayed put. Smart guy.

anyways i was leaving and so was everyone else. Well the cop follows me out the the highway and pulls me over again. Two tickets for blue sidemarker bulbs.

my headlight covers seem to attract cops during the day time.. i'm just fine at night tho.. i'll just zip tie the front L plate on if a rookie ever pulls me over for it.. i'm hella not gonna drill out the holes i filled up.

 

I was thinking about going to red and amber bulbs soon because I see lots of po po's at night.

 

Sorry about your side marker tickets, but they sure beat racing tickets.

Too bad about the tickets but that way better than getting caught racing. Sounds like u handle the situatin well though. Some cops can be @$$holes at times. Oh well. Be careful, getting caught isn't worth it.

 

you could always shave your sidemarkers...i haven't had a problem yet (however i've been pulled over on 3 seperate occasions for bulbs)

 

Hi Kev, I just installed my clear corners yesterday, with amber in front and red in the rear one, look really cool should not have problems with cops, anything else than amber or red is illegal at least here in Canada.

YJ, sorry man, I couldn't make it on Fri night, however I drove by Park and Coit at around 9:15pm, didn't see any max's there. Anyways, did you get a ticket in Plano? or was it somewhere on Royal Ln??? Thats why now I keep all my stock bulbs, already got pulled over before for blue bulbs..

 

You lucky YJ... you gotta "Just say no" to those blue bulbs!

 

Same here in Cali... do you (or anyone) have pics of both front and rear with amber and red bulbs, respectively? I remember seeing red and that looked fine, but don't recall ever seeing amber.

 

Hey Kev, I will post some pict soon, I land my camera to my friend for his ski trip in Whistler B.C. I'll do it asap.

By the way, I'm thinking of going to SIGGRAPH this summer in CA with my family, perhaps we can meet, I'll be around Santa-Monica and probaly visit my friends in Los Gatos ( near Frisco )
