There have been a couple GD's for these. IIRC bsetiawan ran the last one...he may have a couple sets left.

I love these. While they can be 'plug and play', I installed the relay that came with them. They are plenty loud!

I got my horns here, since I'm in Alaska I have to order everything on line. http://www.carnaubawax.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=77573

Isn't there two horn in the Max? One at the front and another on the left side of the engine bay? Do you put both in front or replace the one off to the side too?

Another thing, I'm not to excited about the red, is it possible to spray those over black to blend in more w/o screwing up the sound?

I installed hella horns just last week. No, there is only one horn. The brackets included with the horns fit perfect in the stock location. You can even use the same connector for one horn, then run a cable from the same connector over to one of the spades on the other horn.

I would stuff a rag under the red grills, and then yes you could paint the tops without worry.

NO, there are two horns (or, I should say there are two different tone horns)

One is in front of the radiator and the other is on the passenger side of the engine bay.

I installed the Hella horns that I bought from Bsetiawan. Originally I installed in the OEM places (mentioned above) but I recently moved the second one up in front of the radiator so they're both there now. Had to extend the wiring and it's a PITA to do unless you take the front bumper/grill off. I did it with it on and have scraped knuckles to show for it.

So its better to put both in the front? What is the passenger side for? So its not hard to install both up front? I also noticed small screws and bolts holding the red piece on can 't I just unscrew it to paint it?
