I got the full kit, with SS lines, bought some ceramic pads and some new tools. I would say I have about 11 or 1200 into it right now. I am not shortcutting ANYTHING. I have replaced even my lugs to make sure to accomodate the 5MM spacers. Go to Matts websight and you probably could do it easily for about 1/2 what I paid for it. www.mattblehm.com
I also have bought new hardware all around. The only thing I am reusing is the stock caliper in the rear. I am even replacing the banjo bolt and copper gaskets (which I ran around this evening to get...3 different Nissan dealers to get 2 bolts and 5 gaskets...sheesh).
So far its been a dream to put together. I am EXTREMELY happy with quality and fit and finish. Hopefully my pads show up tomorrow so I can finish it up.
FYI the kit using factory calipers cost me:
$125 for brackets
$200 (about) for 2k4 rotors at the dealer
$30 for G4 Brake Paint kit (not done yet)
so, about $350 for the "budget" BlehmCo setup plus caliper paint....I also am very happy with it.

Wow!
OK,
I finally got everything together and after posioning myself with brake cleaner (
)was able to complete the job.
The only Mr. Murphy that has showed up so far in this procedure is that my car is JUST on the verge of a caliper design change that the computer was unable to determine the correct set of pads to use. Mr. DaveB to the rescue.
Dave helped me out and got it situated in no time flat...and I mean no time flat. Thats why ALL my OEM parts will be purchased from DaveB. He spent the time to help and take care of me.
First impressions, as I can stomp on the brakes yet:
1) Pedal is a tad, just a tad, softer. BUT when it grabs..good golly Miss Molly.
2) Modulation is different, not sure how to explain yet.
3) Looks COOL behind the rims

Parts replaced
1) Front calipers to 300Z
2) Front Rotors to 2K4
3) Front lines to SS lines
4) Ceramic OEM pads
5) 5MM spacers/new lugs for rim clearance
6) SS lines in back
7) Ceramic OEM pads in back
8) New banjo bolt and copper gaskets
* I repainted the back calipers to silver to make it non-descript
* Had the rear rotors turned down
So far I am happy with it. I will be rebleeding the system again after a weekend of driving.
