I know this guy that has this deli truck, and he's been talking sh#$ about maxima's... Well i challenged him to a race, but now am having reservations...

What do yo guys think about my chances....

What should I expect in terms of 0-60 , 1/4 mi. times for a loaded deli truck??

Anything I should do before the race?? Perhaps pull out the passenger seats, and empty the gas tank??

He has V12 badging and a mean looking VTEC sticker.... Should i be seriously worried??

:-)

-Tom Z.

Just thought we needed a little morale booster... GUYS!!! (and gals)... we went from posts titled "Spanked a Mustang" to "Can I take a camry/neon/metro, etc."

PS.. i finally snapped a few quick snapshots of my stock auto SE, in case anyone cares --> http://www.tomz.org/about/maxima/

Depends on what he has in the deli truck

If he's got methane producing sandwiches in his truck then beware, methane gives alot of extra hp and should help him really fly!

Now this guy hit the nail right on the head. I remember reading a post about a guy who kicked a beamers ***. Now i see posts like: I got my *** kicked by an old VW beetle.

These are fast cars gentlemen. We just need fast drivers.

speaking of nice roadkills...

this ***** in a BMW 323Ci 5spd tried to race me today. heh heh heh...I have nothing but respect for BMW's...there are awesome cars, but this guy was asking for some maxima tail, so I gave it to him. from about a 10 mph rolling start...and it was not even close the whole time. I kicked some a$$.

depends on the driver...

if mingo was driving... i'd think the max would bow down to the Schloski's truck. If Kev was driving, it'd be closer, but, the Truck is still winning. If i drove... well...of course you'd win...

All in good fun guys.

Well it should give your max a lot of downforce, and keep your car planted firmly to the ground!

Hmm.... more downforce = more friction = better traction = less wheelspin!!!

I see nothing wrong...

a win-win situation... I like :-)
