I am not sure what the differences between these two are. I know that one is lighter than the other and the less weight the better off you are, but if someone can fill me in, I am a dumb@ss when it comes to some of this stuff. Thanks

The Ultra SC is the same size in diameter as the OEM puley, just weighs less. It is mostly meant for people with large stereo systems or a supercharger.
The Ultra S is actually a true underdrive, thus being smaller in diameter and lighter as well. This is the one you want as long as you do not have a stereo that is more than 600 W RMS ior a supercharger

Well, I sure do love my stereo, So that means I must go with the Ultra SC then? Is this one a good brand or do you think I should step up a notch? What would be the best advice for someone who is new to the Maxima world and the only aftermarket motor mod I have gotten yet is a Injen COld Air intake. Thanks again...

you can still get a smaller pulley.. i think you have to get a secondary battery or something.. i dont know much bout stereos but i've seen people with some pulleys and still have 12"... however i dont see the point to this ... they are tryin to do a weight reduction yet they still have heavy *** boxes in the trunk

and as an advice ... the Ud pulley is a serious mod.. you get some good gains. from it.. helps your launches and revs higher.. but first i would suggest you getting a y-pipe first

Serious gains? It gives you like 4-5hp.

To answer your question, the UR UDP is the best available. Other brands have caused serious problems with leaking.

I have the Definitive Motorsports UDP. I have never had a problem with it nor have I heard of anyone else having a problem. The price is significantly better than the UR pulley. The RVM pulley is the one to avoid.

UDP doesn't give you hp. It frees up hp.

Before you buy the UDP, whch by the way Unorthodox is the way to go, buy a Y-pipe. It is by far your best mod to add horsepower for cheap. I got the Warpspeed off the GD and I love it!!!

Mine is the SC (not underdrive) is on the way!!
I chose the SC's one because I don't want to change my damm strap and underdrive anything(AC, Alternator, etc) and UR is the only one to have this no-underdrive lightweight pulley

Get the Cattman y-pipe...In my opinion youll see better gains from it than any of the others out there, its worth the extra $$$$ to get it. I speak from experience, i had the Cattman y-pipe before i bought the Cattman headers and i loved it. Its full stainless steel and a very good design. I trust Cattman products 100%!! The link for it is www.cattman.com Im not trying to change your mind on which pipe is best or go against anything anyone else has said in this thread, just offering up my opinion because ive had experience with the product.
