6-speed shifter boot - look funny?
Hello, I'm looking at possibly purchasing this '02 Maxima. In one of the pictures I noticed that there look to be some "prongs" up where the shifter boot ought to connect to the reverse ring. Looks like the boot may have become disconnected. I don't believe I've seen any like that before. Is it supposed to look like that? If not, is it hard to fix?
I haven't seen the car in person yet, its about 2 hours away. Thought I'd pick your guy's brains...
Thanks!

That makes my last three cars EBay finds... One of which I actually had to "win" by bidding.
