I personally am running an OSCAI cause I didn't want to drill my fender but overall the PRCAI will give better results.

Good luck!
I suggest that your try the OSCAI first. You have virtually nothing to lose. It costs $50 worth of parts and can be removed in no time at all. If you like it, keep it. If you want something better later on, then go with the PR CAI.

check out Punkdork's sig...he has a link with pics. Basically, all you need is a 3" to 2" coupler found in the plumbing section of your hardware store, some 2" diameter tubing, and a K&N drop in filter. You can get creative with the end of the tubing and make it like a ram-air intake.

i dont even wanna try changing the fog lights cuz im too scared to break sumthing
do a search in this forum with the term OSCAI and you will get a lot of threads. It has been discussed in detail before. Check those out. But basically, the air scoop is hooked up using a L--shaped tube to a white resonator box. All you really have to do is take the scoop out and remove the L-shaped tube. Stick the coupler on the end of the scoop and stick the tube at the end. Point the tube down into the splash guard and make it face forward. Then, just drop in the K&N filter in place of the stock filter.

Just be aware that you're putting your warranty in jeopardy with the Place Racing CAI. It's one thing to run a cone filter that you can easily exchange for the stock airbox if something goes wrong. It's quite another to cut a hole in your fender and pretend it isn't there when you put your stock airbox back on. A hole big enough to house a Place Racing CAI is hard to hide!
Good luck!

Trust me, if I can install an OSCAI, ANYBODY can install an OSCAI. I'm the least mechanically-minded person I know and it was a slam dunk to put it in.
The OSCAI still has my vote for the Maxima.org 5th Gen Mod of the Year Award. It's cheap, easy to install, effective, and won't void your warranty. What else could you ask for?
