oooo and the gas cap is also rated at a higher pressure, what in tarnation does that mean? do?

It doesn't do much except look good and "perform" better than a regular radiator cap, thats it. 1.3bar vs. 0.9bar

It raises the "boiling point" of the radiator fluid, therefore keeps the fluid in the radiator from going too soon to the radiator reservoir. I'm sure someone else can explain this better than me. Thats pretty much all I know in general.

to that end, I have not once heard a 5th-genner on this forum complain that their antifreeze overheated and blew the cap....
