I dont got heated seats. but at some point i want to install them up front and then also in the rear and wire it up to 1 unit. is that possible? and if it is, would leather seats pose a problem with the heat?

 

I have leather heated seats!!! Leather won't be a problem.

 

yeah I think all the heated seats inthe max are leather, aren't they (mine are too)

 

The merridan edition (sp) had the heated seats/mirrors! Why would you want to heat your back seat? How often do you have people back there to care if their a$$e$ are warm??????

 

My 2001SE and my 99GLE before it both had heated seats, and heated mirrors. I don't think the mirrors are any special edition thing, they go on when you turn on the rear defroster.

 

heated mirrors are on the meridian package as well. My buddy's 2k1 SE without heated seats doesn't have heated mirrors either.

 

heated seats wont post a problem.. But there is a problem if you want to put them in the rear... you would have to get smaller heating pads becuase the rear velcro pattern affects the pad.

Everything could be wired to 1 unit, but would you really want to control everyone? Rather then let them control themselves?
