Side Mirror Question

Yesterday I was parked in a parking lot and I left my car for not even ten minutes, I come back with my gf and she notices that my mirror (the whole thing) is bent toward car (the mirror part is facing out) and it looked as if someone's fat )( pushed it far out and now it's broken..I called up a couple of places and it'll cost 107 to get a whole new mirror and everything (everything works fine and nothing is cracked). Is there anyway I can fix this? I am thinking about throwing some adhesive or glue on it and leaving it to save myself some money..Anyone have ideas?! I hate ignorant people, damit...

It's spring loaded and should spring back to the normal position if you push it backwards.

No it's pretty much broke, I have it taped on right now, I am thinking about just glueing it or something..It won't spring back in or anything...

I mis-interpretrd when you said that nothing was broken then. They must have whacked the mirror if it's cracked somewhere on the housing. It's hard to say what you can do without seeing where the damage is. JB weld may be an option.

I used JB weld to repair my plastic air cleaner breather pipe. It drys smooth and is sandable. It did not eat the plastic. There are 2-3 different JB Welds on the market. I used the regular one.

It's not worth the price tho, I'd rather glue it, plus I don't feel like spending so much on something that could be fixed with practically no money involved..
