Lambo Doors 2000-2003 (i Need 10 People)

Im thinking about doing the Lambo doors on my 2002 Maxima. VerticalDoors.com said that they need 10 people first to make a kit for a car. I am trying to find 9 others. Cost will fun around $1600.00 per kit. Holla at me and let me know. or just email me at jbgerwe@aol.com

Second - does anyone know if i can put some Eibachs on my car if i got 20's? Tires are 245/30/20.

20's and lambo doors?
Someone's been watching MTV "Pimp My Ride"...

anyhow, there is a thread about a max with lambo doors and I believe that every single person on the org dogged the car....Just so you don't get your hopes up... you will have a very tough time finding 2 people who want the doors, IMO.

Might want to break into the .org with something a little less....r..i..c....I mean, controversial.

Anyways welcome to the org and don't take the ******* your gonna get for this personally, we all dog each other constantly!!!! It's all in good fun.

forget pimp my rides cas they take **** and turn them into more ****. Im talking about a maxima. I seen the lambo style on that white maxima but his kit and hood and all the extra BS does not accent the doors or the word MAXIMA written on his car. Well i have came down to these decisions - you let me know which one

Options
1: Lambo doors
2: 7" fiberglassed indash with headrests
3: coilovers - the good ones (1500.00 good) TEIN

which one?

of the three...I'd go with the TVs I guess...but why coilovers, why not just some springs and illuminas instead?

remember though it comes down to your priorities, not mine. I personally wouldn't do any of those three....but I probably have different priorities since I'm 28 and married and in Washington DC area. You're younger probably in college so the look you want is prob different from me.

without knowing what you already have on the car, it's hard to say what to do.

If I had a stock max and $1500 like it seems you do, here's what I would do:

RSB
Intake
UDP
Y-pipe
Catback
FSTB

that stuff would total about $1500 I guess and would greatly improved the performance of your car, if not the looks.

I think the lambo doors look sweet personally... but I would much rather have headers, struts, springs, rotors, pads, and SS lines for that price.

Why not get gull-wing doors like a DeLorian?
If you're gonna do a door mod, it really should be suicide doors !!!!

but seriously jbg, if this is your thing, then go for it - you will be the only one on the org with them. Might want to post about it in the Group Deals section if you need 9 others to get it though......

this is the thing, i like power (i got the cold air injen and thinking bout headers) but i dont want to disturb my guests in the car with the muffler, catback, etc. I got 20" of giovanna chrome the stillen kit, the chrom door sills, the strut bar, custom jl setup with the use of a spare still, dressup up engine, side mirror turn signals, neons in and out. I like the clean luxury feel but i want to make a honda look like a geo at the same time. I had my last max on the ground so i like the lower look but i scrubb with 20's. What do i do?

lambo door belong on a lambo (or a sports car)!! I hate to break it to you but Maxima is not a sports car. Its a sporty sedan. Unless your car outputs 400HP or more, stick to tints and race grilles... JMHO.

I dont see anywhere in the original post asking for opinions from anyone not interested in Lambo doors on their Max.....

Seems too many people think they're shyt dont stink and "love" to talk out of their piehole....I know its boring around here lately but damn.....I'm quite sure he's interested in serious responses only people

I once saw a wrx that was a coupe, the guy converted it himself..If you really want lambo doors why not just convert your maxi to a coupe, it can be done prolly for that price too..I dunno..Just my view..

you cant say "i like power" and "i got 20s" in the same paragraph thats like me saying "i like power but i have 20 bags of cement in the trunk cause i like the way it looks" you cant have power AND heavy *** ghetto fabulous rims!!!!!
your car is already better then a honda!! you said it yourself "i like the clean classy look" how are those doors clean OR classy????????? the only thing you will have over a honda will those doors...MORE RICE.
and im not trying to offend you or "hate" simply stating the facts

hey, you can say 20s and I like power in the same paragraph... I mean, im sure people want the best of both worlds... look and power. Maybe its not gonna be the sam amount as others, but its what he wants to do. As far as the lambo doors, I agree, itll only look good on a 2 door.

disclaimer:im not trying to start anything with you, fellow NoVA dude.

"classy on a show car"???
they are opposites

straight from the dictionary
classy - Highly stylish; elegant without trying to hard, Free from showiness)

show - A striking appearance; a spectacle.
showiness - prone to ostentatious (an extravagant outward show), often tasteless display; flashy

how about "would look GOOD on a show car"

carry on

There is nothing I hate more than rice. The car kind of rice. Everyone says this is a cheesy mod, but I kind of like it. But i agree, the max has to be putting out some crazy horses to back it up. A bit expensive too. A body kit would be better, or you can save your pennies and in 50 years you can buy a real Lambo. Make that 70.

If you're building a show car, excellent.. lambo doors will most likely win you a few prizes/trophies. as long as it's done right.

If you're building a daily driver that stands out, avoid the lambo doors. it's more pain than gain.

I wouldn't recommend the full coilovers either. Maybe 3 people on this forum know how to properly tune a true coilover (i'm not one of them)... of those 3, only 1 races it. true coilovers are for racing purposes, a street car will never see/use the full potential of a true coilover. A street car with true coilovers is typically for the bling appeal.

Why not spend that $1500 on say... something fun?
Pit bike?
Pocket bike?
shifter kart chassis?
maybe even a PS2 installed into the car. Least when you're on long drives, your co-driver can drive while you play, or vice versa.
$1500 is a nice down on a GSXR600.

if it was an integra, i'd say get a body kit...
