SES, Slip, TCS off lights???
I had these lights stay on my dash upon start up today. Anybody know what the cause of this is? Later, after a few more startups, the slip and TCS disappeared, but the SES stayed lit. Evidently, I have to extract the code at the dealer, but why did the slip and TCS stay on with the SES? Anybody have this happen to them before? I like to be somewhat prepared before I take a trip to the dealer to find out what's going on.

I'm in a similar situation, I have the ABS, TCS and a CEL light on for the last 2 weeks, the cel is a PO140 code, probably a bad catalytic converter as for the ABS and TCS I check the fuse but couldn't find anything wrong so I have no clue why it stay on, I also check all the ABS wire but I found nothing so far, I will look into it tommorow.

i'm in the same scenario... except i had a electrical burn smell inside the car and my abs light is not on. i have a feeling the sound system i put in when i first bought the car may be the root cause of my problems. i've had to replace the battery and alternator (i probably picked up a real cheapo alternator). the replacement battery already has alot of white flaky build up around the terminals. occasionally the car is slow to start and sometimes the windows go up reeaalll slooow. it's in the garage now - monday i'll find out what the mechanic says.

My mechanics scantool was busted so I took the car home and read the code myself. I got 12 92 96, which is a "LAN communication start procedures not complete" (92) and LAN monitoring error (96) and according to www.alldatadiy. Somewhere between the ABS/TCS module and ECM (or the modules themselves), lies the problem. I'm going to reset the code and see if they pop up again.
