So it seems every few weeks a thread about short throw shifters for the 5.5 gens pops up, people make a few phone calls, and then things fizzle out. Has anybody by chance found a produdct out there they haven't mentioned and we don't know about?

Also, how about the short throw shifter nismo is offering here http://www.performancenissanparts.co...roducts_id=315 for 02-03 altimas, and the 02-04 spec-v (strage it can work on a 6 and 5 speed). B&M also appears to be offering about the same thing. Could these also work on the max or is our reverse release different than the 6-speed spec-v?

 

I wish someone would make a short throw shifter for the 02-03 Max, but it doesn't seem to be on the hot list of any companies. I want one as I hate the larger and sluggish shifts witht eh 7 inch shifter.
