I am gonna buy a chip for my 5sp 00max and i dont know what i should get for a chip. any suggestions would be helpful.

 

What chip you talking about? I dont know of any chip that increases performance besides have your ECU re-programmed which cant be dont for your 2k as of yet.

Last I read/hear, the aren't any chips out for the 5 gen max that can be popped in & out....besides sending your ECU to be reprogrammed, or have a piggyback chip soldered on, you are SOL..

No not the the cheap thing thats on ebay. Some thing like the venom 400. i saw that they stop at 1999 for the maximas. i didnt know if anyone else sold something like that because i do not want to send my ECU out.

 

If you want to upgrade your ECU, you will have to send it out to get it reprogrammed. I think that's the only option for us.
