How much money have you spent, modding your Maxima?

Lets see how much the mod bug got each of us... take the poll.

When you calculate your mods (currently installed or sitting there to be installed soon) on your car, keep in mind that anything you added to improve your maxima in any way can be considered as a mod. That means any and all Audio, performance, power, suspension, appearance, comfort etc should be totalled in. Don't add labor costs.

Also, ignore wear and tear items like tires. If you purchased speciality sports tires, then you can consider it as a mod, but if all you did was replaced your balding tires then its not a mod.

Also, indicate how long you have owned your car...

Example: Owned for 12 Months, spent about $2000...

$hit

$1200 so far... I have done ZERO "performance" Mods. Oh god am I in trouble!

What makes it worse is that I have an I30, and there isnt that much visual stuff out there for me. Ie. No body kits. I dont even have wheels yet!

So Ive pretty much spent over a grand on tint, lighting, and a few grills

Wow, $30K!! First when I made this poll, I changed the option "Over $10000" to "Over $7500" because I thought we would have only handful... obviously I was wrong!

I'm not too far over $2000 so I voted below $3500. My stereo alone costs me close to $2000.

EDIT: Well I take that back. I actually right at $3500 and in the next 3-4 months I'll be putting on another 1K in mods.

i added up EVERYTHING i have bought for my baby. granted not all things are "mods" some are just things i bought (license plate frame).
and i also included BOTH sets of tires i have bought. they are kinda mods, they are better then the ones on there before.

i figured since i was adding it up anyway, i might as well make a little spreedsheet. now i have the info to answer questions that come up.
here you go

nothing....I stole all my mods off of soonerfan's maxima. Well, everything except his hubcaps...

seriously, though...
BlehmCo brake kit - $300~
Stillen RSB - $200~
Fire extinguisher and 1st aid kit - $30
Redline shift/ebrake boots - $50
License plate bracket and cargo net - $50 at junkyard (and some other stuff)
Various headlight, parking light, etc. bulbs $150
Intake $200~
and some other stuff...

looks like it totals up around $1000 or a little more, not including the Falken tires and new brake pads.

under $100. for the maxspeed springs.

bought the wheels 3 years ago... so, don't count those.

the MP3 player, amp, box don't count, cause those can be for anything.

I don't see the need to spend money on my daily driver when i have a car the already costs me a lot of money (and provides me the thrill of racing)

Too much on my sound equipment thats for sure, and I still have the darn factory dash. Man, with two thousand dollars that could have easily went to visual and performance mods instead of heavy amps and subs. I hate my life.

Can we add in MAF sensors. It is kind of like a mod because if you get an intake you pretty much have to get one of these

well, MAF is a factory installed item. If you are simply replacing a blown MAF then its not really a mod. It comes under repair & maintanance.

If you got a technosquare upgrade, then its a mod...
