Guard Rail Mod - how to

First you are need one of these, I alreadry used this one, but there is plenty out there.

then all you need is some a-hole with 5 other people in a 91 accord and and 3 mo. old baby (urestrained of course), to clip your front end at 70mph. this will send you into a spin into the above mentioned guardrail and presto you get this..

Aside from the car...you gotta give props to the fact that the damn guardrail got hit by a 3500 lb car and only got dented.

nah, but luckily he could speak english, no one else in the car could though.. and big bonus he had insurance..... but alas, ten days later that car is still in the same spot, at my brother inlaws house, atop a steep, dirt driveway, which has been a mud driveway for the last couple of days due to the rain, and the flatbed cant get up it to take my car to the shop.....dam my luck blows

Sorry man, that's too funny. Sorry to hear about your hardship, glad to see you've kept your sense of humor about it though, I doubt I'd be able to do the same.

I am glad you're okay and can joke around. With most of the front end being damaged, suspension damage, roof damage and both airbags deployed that looks like it might be a total. That sucks cause it looks like a nice car. Like I said at least you're okay. I hope everything works out for you man.

oh yea, from what I told the adjuster over the phone about the damage, he says it is most likely totaled, I do not have collision (I know, I know, NO COLLISION ON A 2K MAX?, lets just ignore that, I just cant bear to hear it again), so I have to collect from his insurance, but here's the kicker. NYS liability insurance minimum coverage = $10K, which is all this guys insurance is good for. So since I cant replace the car with that $$$, I will try to repair it. I have a friend who does body/collision and is willing to work at cost for parts and labor, I told him about the damage and he said he could not only get the car back on the road, but get it "minted out" (his words)for less than 10k, just got to get it to his shop. So hopefully I can get that car back on the road, w/ everything fixed and a shiny new paint job.

but before I go through any of that I am going to try what davecmu said and see if I can just buff it out.

one bright side: you have a chance of getting the AE headlights and to get the bumpers painted with non-nissan paint

don't settle for less!
