All Aspects of Modification are covered through us!

Hey guys, it seems as though some of you think or have the impression that we are just a turbo kit shop. Well that's wrong, and we'd like to let you all know and become aware that we are also open-minded in the development of many other products! We can make the following
  1. Suspension Components
  2. Intake and Exhaust Systems
  3. Intake and Exhaust Manifolds
  4. Superchargers
  5. Fuel Management
  6. Upgraded Braking

Hey SSR, glad you've continued to show interest and support for our community I've got some suggestions for you guys.

1. Some sort of Financing, maybe handled by a third party company. A lot of the items you guys offer are beyond the immediate cash reserves of most of us.

2. I'll take a maxima specific intake manifold for $350 Mr. Trebec

3. Find some way to get us the high end power our Z brethren seem to enjoy so much.

4. Sell Turbo manifolds seperately from the kit.

5. I'll take a new big brake kit option Or even just good replacement 2 piece rotors.

6. Maybe start listing some of the component parts and things you carry with southwestautoworks? I think they're in Phoenix, and that would make your company a lot more accessible to us.

7. Traction rods

8. I dunno if you guys have any sort of ability for transmission type work, but an aftermarket LSD option would be nice. (gear or clutch, no viscous BS )

9. Sub frame connectors?

That's all I can think of for now, but once again thanks for your support, I don't know of any other vendor/manufacturers that are actually open to suggestions

How about a short-throw shifter for a 6-speed tranny?

Also a supercharger would be sweet but I don't expect that kind of product to come easy.

too much stuff is already out for the vq30 - you have the stillen s/c already and the brake kits, suspension, etc. would more than likely be for 00-03 and not just 02-03

We dont have a bon-o-fied turbo kit (with real world numbers and GOOD reliablity). I want boost bad...but its my daily driver in winter and it HAS to start and it HAS to run reliably.

What is "too much" stuff anyway?

YOu made a good point. There is no turbo-kit for your car.

What I meant by "too much" was what else is left for your car? You have the i/h/e, one form of FI, pullies, ...are you looking for internal engine pieces?

Once your turbo kits start coming out, a MB 3" exhaust with the LARGEST possible high quality perforated core resonator and a couple different option muffler sections would be killer.

I heard from Dave B on www.kcmaximas.org that there isn't enough room for a supercharger in the 02-03 Maxima.

I wouldn't mind a carbon fiber hood that was modded to accomodate the supercharger, and came as part of the package...

but I want a reliable s/c setup.

Or how about exhaust manifolds. Something that could bolt onto our aftermark y-pipes (cattman) that would give us people that didn't wait for headers into headers. With your manifold and our y-pipes it would be as if we had the hot shot or stillen headers. I don't know if this would be practial or even possible, but I thought I would just throw it out there.

it might turn out like the stillen headers since you'll lack the even length tubing of the hs or cattman headers.

can you fully tune suspension? I'm looking at a true coilover kit from Koni that has rebound and damper adjustments, as well as needs corner weighting done.

?

I'd like to see something that will allow 8,000rpm redline. Maybe titanium valve springs, camshaft's & a bigger valve head swap. All bench flowed & dyno proven ofcourse?

yeah so all of these ideas you guys are throwing out not only are practical, but you have the money in hand for them right? Cuz i think the maxima community has yet to prove itself to SSR as a viable market in that no one has actually bought any turbo kits from them yet, let alone volunteered to be a test car.

Bump...

and a turbo kit is far different from a short throw shifter, intake manifold, and SFC's.

SUPERCHARGER. Turbo will be done in less than a year if no S/C becomes availible. But damn, I hate all that crap in the engine compartment. Also, I want a clutch that will engage qucikly.

has anyone tried a short throw shifter for the Spec V in their 02-03 Maxima ? they share the same tranny basically. Motor mounts ? how about making them yourself by filling them up with some utherane. Aftermarket clutch ? call up SPEC or Clutchnet, with enough interest they will make one for ya guys. I know for a fact that 91-00 Sentra short throw fits a 89-01 Maxima- cause I had one in mine. I'm personally like my shifter in my GXE with a Sparco ****. I would really dig some good exhaust manifolds that will hook up my GT3037 to it before I make my own ypipe.
