Injen Intake Good Price or not?

I found this injen intake on ebay...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38634
With Injen will I have to cut anything in my car, and also would it void my warranty? I want to make sure I don't need to cut anything, and is injen the best to go with. Is it possible to get this intake cheaper? Please any information would be very beneficial. Thanks!

That is a lot of money to spend on an intake. plus there are to many other intakes that you can get for a lot cheaper. Also, any intake will void your warranty. If you are taht worried about warranty dont do anything to the car except visual and suspension mods.

That is not a good price at all!!

no there woulkd be no drilling involved, and my personal opinion is that Berk intake,or FC are better, but thats just my opinion, plus a berk intake is only 160.

It shouldn't void your warranty, unless they can prove that it is the reason for the problem. Dealer might give you some crap about it, but it shouldn't void your warranty.

The warranty isn't my main concern. I can always switch it back if I need to. I know when I had my accord I had an AEM short ram that didn't go down to the wheel, and it was really easy to install. You guys mentioned some other intake brands, where can I get the best price? Are there so called "short rams" for the maximas? or do I have to go CAI? Thanks!

Injen CAI for 2000 Max

That is a horrible price. I have a 2000 Maxima and a polished injen race division CAI, which I am VERY satisfied with. The installation is not hard, you just have to take out all the air boxes from the stock intake manifold. The injen looks awesome and makes the car purr. Also, you will notice the difference in power, I know I did. I got mine for 202 plus shipping from overboost www.overboost.com. The prices have gone up, but at least know that you can get it for alot less than that ebay price. Let me konw if you want installation help (I did it myself).

What all is involved with the install. I mean when I remove the air box, does everything hook up nice and neat? Where does the air filter go to... is it by the wheel?

Injen is NOT a CAI......only CAI's are Cattman/Place Racing.

Agreed. And, you can get cheap Injen knockoffs on eBay (search eBay motors for "maxima cold air intake", look for a XOXO parts intake for ~$45)... might be worth a try, although I hear the stock filter for those intakes suck, so you might want to order a nice K&N filter on the side

Get a real CAI or get the Berk or FC instead of the Injen.

That price is very high, I got mine for quite a bit less. I love it though, and have 0 regrets...

i got an intake and my dealer didnt say anything about it! I got a stillen intake so maybe this is the reason that my dealer didnt say anything... when i ask them
they was like "if you put stillen stuffs, you dont have worry about your warranty"

That's BS...Stillen is not affiliated with Nissan.

In any case, NO THANKS to cutting holes in my fender, in my stock airbox, etc...
