Maybe this is a crazy question, but here it is...does the 2001 Maxima have the same body style as the 2000? I'm looking to put on the side window vent shields (smoked) but every where I look they don't offer it for the '01 Maxima. I found a manufacturer that makes a set that can be installed without using any adhesive glue, tape, or screws. My father-in-law has them on his Nissan Frontier and they look and work great. Thank you in advance for all your comments and help.

Window deflectors

The 2001 is the same as the 2000's body style. The window deflectors should fit both. Nissan puts out the smoked ones, I believe, but there are also aftermarket ones they may offer that come in black. You should be able to purchase both from your local Nissan dealer. They'll run you about $58.00 I'm goin' with the black ones, cuz they'll match my car better.

Ventshades

Both should be available from your Nissan dealer. They are both made by VentShade, it's just that the smoked ones have the Nissan logo on them or something. I'm not sure how they attach though, I've only briefly spoken with my local Nissan parts guy about em. Peace.
