Pics of Left Coast Tuning CF eyelids , and CF Hood

I slapped on the CF hood and the eyelids , with the help of Irvine 78 this afternoon....my car was dusty as heck, so it looks dirty in the pics...but it gives you an idea of what the eyelids will look like......Im still waiting on the CF engine cover too .....

oh hey, kloogy, i realized you dont have your plates in the front. Have you gotten pulled over for those? Is it illegal not to have them on, or can you have it in your front windows (i also live in NY now).

Personally, I can't stand c/f on a white car. It looks like those stupid ricers driving around with primered body kits and spoilers. If the c/f was on black or a grey it would look decent. Now I could see if you were into serious racing where the extra 30 or so lbs saved on the lighter hood would matter, but to each his own right; its your car and you can do what you want with it.

I was thinking of getting a pair of those eyelids too. They look great! Do they effect the cut off of the HIDs at all?

The eyelids dont affect Hids at all, I drove home 50 miles today in at nightime, and they are perfect.

yeah minus the fingerprints...lol

Good to hear about the light output. I tested the Curved ones out too, and I didn't notice any problems w/blocking the light either. The Straight ones are even thinner, so those are even less likely to affect anything.

Yeah. That would look awesome. I see many white IS300s around here with a white and CF hood.

If you keep the CF hood, you should change the grill IMO.

BUT YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT

I just don't like the way the grill and burger look with the CF hood on a white max.
