Greddy Evo installed today....Pics

I just put the Greddy Evo on....I drove the car home 50 miles or so, and I must say, its a lot quieter than my previous setup, which was a Warpspeed B pipe, and the Powertech muffler.....I love it. Now Im ready for the Stillen rear......Drone is very minimal too !

The Greddy Evo seems quiet to me. I saw a 2k2 maxima at school with one and it sounded quiet to me compared to my exhaust.

Man Kloog, the car looks fantastic. Exhaust looks like it fits perfectly and the tip size is very tasteful. I say save your money and pass on the Stillen rear. It looks sick as is.

Stillen kit is coming soon, along with MT lip.....

BTW, the Greddy is the easiest thing you will ever install in the world. My warpspeed B pipe required welding and tweeking to get it to fit......this thing bolted on in less than 30 minutes .

Welcome to the Greddy Evo club, and in case you're wondering, yes, it gets LOUD if you plan on throwing on headers.

Im assuming itll be purdy loud. My headers changed the sound of my exhaust, its louder but it sounds good, and I have the stock "B" and stock muffler.

The EVO 2 is a FULL stainless system, the EVO 1 has only a stainless muffler. The b pipe and pipe off the muffler is aluminized.

I have the EVO 1 and those pipes are rusting.

Hey Kloogy. Here's a tip on cleanning the muffler if you want it to keep it's shine. Eagle One Never Dull. Keeps it looking like this and if it shows sign of rusting the never dull takes it off.

I remember reading about people shaving the rear to clear the greddy. I'm waiting on my rear valence to arrive...hope everything's cool.

the greddy will be slightly touching the rear lip, shaving is not completely neccessary. I've seen irvine78's car with this setup and the lip is just slightly blackened by the heat of the exhaust

The EVO is made to fit w/o the Stillen Rear bumper piece so with the Stillen rear piece on, the exhuast tip will come in contact with it, thus when temperture gets high you will start to smell your rear piece getting burn. Some trims off the rear valence piece is necessary to get some clearance.

I'm talking this from personal experience, I have both Stillen rear valence and EVO2 on my car.

Myownismo, thanks for the tip.....I will go buy some of that stuff, and keep it polished.

Im thinking that it will hit the rear Stillen a tad bit, but that happens with most , even with the HKS, or Stillen rear section....but its nothing major. My Powertech would NEVER have cleared , unless I hacked up the kit.....

03BlkSETE, 2k2whitemaxi let me know when you guys are heading to Etown. I want to a) hear how it sounds on our Maximas and b) see how well you run with the Greddy compared to me with the stock system.
